The future man is not human

The tip of the unintended consequences of the invention of the smart phone are just now coming to the surface. Allegedly a whole generation’s happiness, sex and sociability is getting lost to smart phone habits. Small device, big impact and this is only relevant in the last 20 years or less. We can barely imagine what the impact of technology of the future is going to be on humanity. Our foresight is 20-20 judging by the little short term impact the smart phone has had across all generations alive today. If you extrapolate conservatively, the human of the future will be a shell of what today’s human is. The balance to accept alleged technological progress and while respecting free will is headed for an inevitable crash in the imaginable future.
